We often get asked if there’s a specific order in which Per’s books should be read. While the trilogy is best enjoyed in sequence, the rest can be read in any order you like.
BUT if I were to reread Per’s books, I think I’d follow the order shown in the image.
And yes, I know Mansion of Mirrors isn’t out yet, but I still think it deserves a spot in the lineup. 🙂
Here’s why I’d recommend this order:
1. Reading the prequel, Rose’s Story, right after the trilogy will have the biggest impact.
2. This order ensures you catch all the Easter eggs.
3. By the time you reach DRY—Per’s darkest book—you’ll already be familiar with his writing style and storytelling.
